Gorilla Middle Finger is an exploration of untamed authenticity. The gorilla, painted in monochromatic realism, confronts the viewer with a gesture that is at once humorous, rebellious, and deeply human. Behind it, layers of vibrant mixed media erupt across the canvas, representing the relentless noise of culture, expectation, and conformity. Rather than aggression, the work celebrates the courage to reject performance and embrace one’s unfiltered nature. As part of a three-piece collection, it reflects on strength not as domination, but as the freedom to remain unapologetically true to oneself.
